Libertae is funded primarily by Pennsylvania’s HealthChoices program through contracts with its behavioral health managed care organizations for Medical Assistance recipients. Individuals not enrolled with a Medical Assistance HealthChoices provider may be eligible for funding through their County of residence.

A sliding-fee scale is used for determining the cost to clients who are paying themselves. In addition, funding is sometimes available, on a case-by-case basis, from individual health insurance companies.

Even with this support, recovery and treatment are extremely expensive. Libertae is asking that you extend your generosity because we don’t believe that financial restraints should ever keep someone from being able to recover from addiction in a safe community. Help bring restoration to these women on their road to recovery. For more information, contact Stacy Ostaszewski at (215) 639-8681 or email sostaszewski@libertae.org.

EDUCATIONAL IMPROVEMENT TAX CREDIT (EITC) PROGRAM

The Pennsylvania legislature enacted and launched the EITC in 2001. The program offers corporations tax credits for donating to organizations that provide low- and middle-income families private school and prekindergarten scholarships, as well as organizations that support innovative public school programs.

Libertae provides prekindergarten services through our licensed childcare at the Family Center. This is a great way for your business to direct its tax dollars to grow healthy women and families.

Commemorative Giving
Do you sometimes struggle with the decision of what to buy loved ones for special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, or holidays? Libertae makes it possible to make a donation in someone’s honor with a celebration card or remembrance card. Dollar amounts are not disclosed to the person in whose name you are making the donation.

Planned Giving
Estate gifts can help Libertae continue to serve the needs of recovering women, while enabling you to minimize estate taxes and protect your assets. If you are interested in making a current or deferred planned gift such as a transfer of appreciated securities, a life insurance policy, a bequest in your will, or a life income gift (gift annuity, pooled income gift or charitable remainder trust), please contact Stacy Ostaszewski at (215) 639-8681 or email sostaszewski@libertae.org.
