Singing and Sisterhood at Libertae

The Bucks County Womens Chorus (BCWC) visited Libertae during a beautiful evening to perform in front of our new Wellness and Recovery Center. This 88-voice all-female ensemble formed in 2012 and sings a variety of genres from show tunes and standards to pop and patriotic songs. They are a ‘singing sisterhood’ that have entertained thousands of people. The women in the ensemble represent a variety of age groups, religious and ethnic backgrounds and hail from towns all around Bucks County and beyond, including Philadelphia and Montgomery County. Libertae women and staff were able to experience the BCWC’s love for performing and bonding together.

After the concert, there was a reception with homemade baked goods brought by the chorus. We were excited to see BCWC member Betty Paskey who is a retired Clinical Director of Libertae. BCWC made a donation helping us to continue empowering women and their families in their recovery. Thanks for inspiring our women and your generosity!
